Meet The Board

President
Maureen Taylor
Hi! I'm Maureen but I also go by Mo. I'm a secondary teacher by training, international paddler by kismet, and mom to an awesome 9-year-old boy.
When I’m not on the water, you can find me chasing new experiences & foods, traveling as much as possible, and trekking through my ever-growing TBR book pile. This is our second time living in Japan and I’m excited to continue connecting with other spouses as we navigate this Navy/overseas life together!

Vice President
Kaylee Fuller
I’m a Bay Area native who’s passionate about serving and building a strong sense of community. As a Navy veteran and a 13 year military spouse, I’ve lived in several places across the U.S. and now call Ikego, Japan home.
I earned my BA in Sociology and Public Service and later became a certified paralegal, spending ten years working in criminal law. That experience shaped how I show up today, organized, people focused, and committed to supporting others. In my volunteer work, I focus on creating spaces where people can connect, feel welcome, and build lasting relationships.
I value genuine, face to face connection and believe it’s at the heart of a strong community. Outside of volunteering, I enjoy hiking, reading, and going on adventures with my husband and 4 year old son.

Secretary
Caitlin Bright
I am a mom to four boys, a therapist in my past life, and an avid reader and crafter. My husband and I met in college and have been married for 15 years. This is our third time in Yokosuka, but we have also lived all around the U.S. and in Singapore. We’re excited to be back and I’m looking forward to being involved with the OSAY community!

Treasurer
Sarah Rothermel
I am a certified life coach specializing in military life. I help spouses find their own identity and confidence amidst the unique challenges of this lifestyle.
I have always been the "hype girl" of the group and am down to try almost anything once. I love traveling, nature, and all things creative. Health and wellness are a priority for me, and I find joy in discovering new ways to stay active and inspired.
With a degree in art and a professional background as a flight attendant, organizer, and personal trainer, I bring a diverse toolkit to my current work as a coach. I am excited to support OSAY in any capacity available!

Communications Manager
Jessi Rueter
I am a coffee addict, book lover, and travel junkie with a habit of over-committing. Over the last 14 years, I have been navigating this military life alongside my favorite person and our two amazing kids with lots of prayer and even more chaos.
In my constant pursuit of knowledge, I have earned a BA in Communication, a Masters in Graphic Design, and a Certificate in Theology. When I'm not moonlighting as the Communications Chair, I work full time as a Marketing Manager for a non-profit retirement organization.

Events Manager
Brennan Reh
I moved to Japan in early 2025 with my husband, who works as a contractor, two dogs, and our cat. This is my first time living overseas, and we’re really enjoying this new chapter!
Over the past decade, I worked as a local TV news reporter and anchor, along with several years as a public information officer.
I enjoy meeting new people, exploring Japan, going to the beach, watching sports, and crafting.

I am a military spouse of 14 years and a mom to two amazing kids. Life in the military world has definitely kept me on my toes—we’ve moved more times than I can count, but every new place brings a new adventure (and a lot of packing tape). This is our second time in Japan.

Being a military spouse isn’t always easy, but I’ve learned to roll with the punches, build community wherever we land, and find joy in the little things—like a good cup of coffee or a successful solo trip to a Thrift shop.

This life definitely isn’t boring, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Advisor
Grace Hannifin
A proud Texas native, I have had the privilege of calling many places home over the past 32 years as a military spouse. Japan holds a special place in my heart — this is our fourth tour here, having first arrived in the 1990s with the air wing at Atsugi and returning three more times to Yokosuka.

After business school, I worked for several years before stepping back to do the most rewarding work of my life: raising our three children, who are now grown adults. These days, you'll find me at the gym, on my Pilates reformer, lost in a good book, working through a challenging puzzle, hunting for treasures at thrift shops, or immersed in anything and everything Harry Potter.

Having served as an advisor to several organizations, including a previous role with OSAY, I know firsthand what a special community this is. I am truly honored to step into an advisory role once again and look forward to supporting the incredible spouses of OSAY.
