Join us for our first Saturday hike! This hike is for more experienced hikers and will take up most of Saturday. This is a members only event.

About the event
We make our way to Mount Oyama about an 1.5 hrs away located in the Tanzania Oyama Quasi-National Park. This hike is a steep incline, gaining over 3,000ft in elevation. We will pass through Oyama-Debra Temple and Oyama Afuri Shrine Simosha on our way to the top. The total hike is around 5 miles.
We will begin hiking starting at the parking lots/bathrooms about 7:30AM and return around dinner time. Please pack a lunch and bring plenty of snacks and water. Hiking poles recommended but not required. This is a hard hike but open to members and family 16+ who would like a challenge. Please bring layers as it will be chilly at the top.
