This off-base event will give you the opportunity to create a traditional kadomatsu. This traditional Japanese decorations is typically made for the New Year out of bamboo and pine. This is a members only event.

About the event
Join us for a December cultural event! We will carpool off base to create our traditional kadomatsu - a Japanese new year decoration. We will learn about the significance while we create these beautiful bamboo and pine decorations that represent new beginnings.
