New things to get excited about:

Join OSAY to beat the heat at Hapipiland on September 6th @ 10 a.m.! Just a four minute walk from Yokohama station, there are tons of indoor activities for you and your littles to enjoy. Tickets are available to purchase with cash (yen), credit cards, or IC cards. To arrive soon after opening, Ikego will meet at Jimmuji station to catch the 0923 train (arriveYokohama station at 955) and main base will meet at Yokosuka Chuo station to catch the 0936 Rapid Limited Express to Sengakuji (arrive at Yokohama station at 1003). Use the East Exit once arriving at Yokohama station. For those living off base, feel free to make your way and plan to meet at the Hapipiland entrance at 1010. There is stroller storage, a nursing room, and formula making room available on site and children’s tickets are available in 60 and 90 minute increments. Adults are a flat fee and can only accompany three children. There is no reentry.

OSAY is ready to start the year with a bang! All members are welcome to celebrate the new year on the second floor of the Officers' Club Yokosuka on Main Base. Appetizers will be provided. Drinks and additional food will be available for purchase. We hope to see you for a fun night of fun, games, dancing, eating, drinking & laughter! Cheers to a great year ahead!

Join us for the Main Base Book Club on September 14th at #61 Sakura Heights from 8-10 p.m. The theme of this months main base book club is Japan and the book is Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata (Japanese book originally and translated into English).
Please join us if you haven't read the book and also if you have! Please join us if you don't feel like bringing anything and also if you feel like bringing a beverage of your choice to share. Charcuterie and community will be provided. Can't wait to see you there!

OSAY welcomes you back to our first book club of the year! Erika Bryant-Northcutt is hosting at her home #63 Nara Heights, Ikego Housing Detachment. We will be reading Lessons in Chemistry and The Wager. Snacks and a Signature Cocktail will be provided! Additional snacks are welcome but NOT REQUIRED. In fact, reading is not required! Come and enjoy good food, lively conversation, and making new friends.
*Babes in arms welcome. The 8pm start time is set with children's bedtimes in mind*

Mark your calendars for September 21st! We will be touring the museum, AND A NOODLE MAKING CLASS! This will be a morning excursion. Transportation and departure times will be provided 1-2 weeks prior to the event.

Trivia Night has been a fan favorite of OSAY members and non-members for years. We are starting with Back To School Trivia on Thursday, September 7th! Doors will open at 6PM to order food and drinks and the game will start at 7PM! We are trying a new location at Chili's on Main Base! The seating chart will be accurate to table locations. Please select your seats accordingly! Non-members are welcome including spouses, friends, and family 18+! We encourage teams of 4 because of prize distribution. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

Our first cultural event this year is a Calligraphy class with Miki! Tickets are $10 for members and $15 for non members.
There are three sessions: two on main base and one on Ikego.
