Who's ready for an authentic Japanese cooking experience? We'll start by meeting at Yokosuka Station and travel to Kamakura station where we will meet Kamakura Minds host, Yukiyo, and chef Suetei, for a shopping excursion at a local farmer's market. Our hosts will explain the various Japanese produce and answer questions. We will purchase our ingredients for the lunch cooking session (included in price). Feel free to bring extra yen if you'd like to buy produce to bring home!

From there, Yukiyo and Suetei will escort us to Kamakura Minds kitchen for a cooking demonstration before we prepare our meals. Learn how to make authentic Japanese miso soup, understand the different options to making dashi (traditional Japanese soup stock) and get your shopping questions answered! Suetei will also teach us how to make a traditional bento box filled with a seasonal meal (TBD).
