About the event
Mochi is a Japanese rice cake made of mochigome, a short-grain japonica glutinous rice. The rice is pounded into paste and molded into the desired shape.
Rice has been regarded as holy food in Japan from ancient times. The rice harvested is thought to be food that raises vitality. It is said that the rice cake is stronger in vitality than rice. Mochi is a popular food to eat at the New Year holiday.
There are two times for this event both accomodating 30 people.
First group: 0930-1130
Second group: 1200-1400
We will meet at the bowling alley parking lot to carpool at 0900 and 1130. We need to limit the amount of cars to about 6 for each group.
